Dear <Salutation>

GOOD NEIGHBOURS

I am writing to ask you on behalf of the residents of the Hilldrop Estate as well as the school to ask you to remind your son or daughter that they should not walk through the Hilldrop Estate or other property on either side of Hilldrop Road when coming to school or going home - unless they live there.

The vast majority of our students do not do this, but there are a minority that do and they can be a nuisance to the residents and create a disturbance. We are trying to work with our neighbours, the residents of Hilldrop Road and its surrounds, to minimize the effects of a large school population on their doorstep.

As you are probably aware, staff from the school are present on Hilldrop Road at the end of school to ensure that our students go home safely and in an orderly manner. We are now supported in this by PC Sue Palmer who has been allocated to Holloway School as part of the governments "Safer Schools" initiative.

With best wishes,

Yours sincerely

John Hudson
